WATERSOLV™ AGRICULTURE PROGRAM

Treat the water. Restore the soil. Grow with less resistance.

WaterSOLV™ Agriculture is HCT’s testing-driven program for irrigation water quality, soil condition, and root-zone performance. It conditions the water at the source, releases bound minerals and nutrition in the soil, and supports the crop, so hard water, bicarbonates, sodium, chloride, and biological buildup stop limiting the field.

Est. 2015 · 3M+ acres serviced · Testing before treatment · OMRI-listed option · NSF/ANSI 60 certified BC

WHAT IS THE PROGRAM?

One program for the whole water-soil-plant system, not a single product.

The symptoms growers bring to HCT share one cause: irrigation water carries minerals, salts, and biology that bind in the lines, the soil, and the root zone with every cycle. WaterSOLV™ Agriculture treats that as one system. Core chemistry is injected through the irrigation water so every cycle conditions the water, strips bound minerals from the soil, and keeps nutrition plant-available. Targeted products handle biology, compromised layers, and crop support. Testing decides what goes where.

WaterSOLV Curative: how scale forms and how the chemistry keeps minerals in solution

Evaporative crystals of strong acids are not redissolved by strong acids; WaterSOLV keeps calcium and magnesium soluble instead.

WHERE EACH PRODUCT ACTS IN THE SYSTEM

WATER SOURCE

Hard water, bicarbonates, sodium, chloride, and biology arrive with every irrigation.

Curative · Curative Organic

IRRIGATION SYSTEM

Scale and biofilm narrow emitters and lines; injection happens here.

Curative · BC · FS-1 delivery

SOIL PROFILE

Bound minerals and salts fill pore space and seal the surface.

Curative · pHix (topical)

ROOT ZONE

Oxygen, biology, and nutrient availability decide how roots perform.

BC · Curative

CROP

Infiltration, nutrition, and consistency show up in the field.

WHAT IT IS BUILT TO SOLVE

The problems usually start in the water and show up in the field.

Each of these has its own HCT University page. Start with the one that looks like your field.

Irrigation water quality

Minerals, salts, and biology that turn reactive once water enters the soil.

How water quality affects the field →

Poor infiltration

Water that ponds, seals, or runs off instead of reaching roots.

Getting water down →

Bicarbonates & hard water

Scale, cemented soil, and locked-up nutrition as water evaporates.

Understand bicarbonates →

Bound nutrition & tight soils

Nutrients present in the soil but unavailable to the plant.

Stripping soils →

Sodium & chloride

Salt load that seals the profile and stresses the crop.

See how sodium works against the root zone →

Biology & black layer

Biofilm, organic buildup, and low oxygen restricting roots.

Biology in the root zone →

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS

Three layers of treatment. One irrigation system carries most of it.

Water is conditioned first, because every irrigation cycle either corrects the soil or adds to the problem. Soil correction follows through the same water, with topical treatment where layers are compromised. Plant support comes last.

01  ·  WATER & SYSTEM TREATMENT

Condition the irrigation water at the source

Curative (or Curative Organic for organic production) is injected through the irrigation system, typically with the FS-1 chemigation platform, so dissolved minerals stay soluble instead of re-binding as scale in lines and soil. BC is added where biofilm or low-oxygen water is part of the problem.

Products:  Curative · Curative Organic · BC · FS-1

02  ·  SOIL & ROOT-ZONE CORRECTION

Release what is bound and open the profile

The same treated water strips bound minerals and salts from the soil so pore space, infiltration, and oxygen return and locked nutrition becomes plant-available. pHix is applied topically where surface or confining layers are compromised; BC restores oxygen in black-layer conditions.

Products:  Curative · pHix (topical) · BC

03  ·  PLANT SUPPORT & RECOVERY

Support the crop once the system can deliver

Grow is the support product within a staged program, used for recovery, nutrient mobility, and stronger crop response once the core water and soil issues are being addressed.

Products:  Grow

CROP RESPONSE

Measured, not assumed: better infiltration and wetting depth, more plant-available nutrition, cleaner lines, an oxygenated root zone, and more consistent field response, confirmed by retesting.

MEET THE PRODUCTS

Four products. Each has one job in the program.

Enough to understand where each one fits. The product pages carry the detail.

CORE CORRECTION · INJECTED

WaterSOLV™ Curative

Conditions irrigation water so calcium, magnesium, and bicarbonate stay soluble, strips bound minerals and salts from the soil, and keeps nutrition plant-available.

Applied  Injected through irrigation (chemigation)

Best fit  Bicarbonates, hard water, slow infiltration, sodium and chloride, bound nutrition

OXIDATIVE REMEDIATION · INJECTED

WaterSOLV™ BC

Catalyzed hydrogen peroxide chemistry that disrupts biofilm and biological buildup, supports oxygen in the root zone, and biodegrades to oxygen and water. NSF/ANSI 60 certified, non-corrosive.

Applied  Injected through irrigation, often alongside Curative

Best fit  Black layer, anaerobic conditions, biofilm, low-oxygen source water

TARGETED RESPONSE · TOPICAL

WaterSOLV™ pHix

A faster, targeted response for compromised surface layers: fills pore space, breaks down constraining material, and restores infiltration depth where injection alone is not reaching.

Applied  Topical, paired with flushing volume and timing

Best fit  Collection areas, surface sealing, confining layers, calcification

PERFORMANCE SUPPORT · STAGED

WaterSOLV™ Grow

The support product within a staged program, used once correction is underway for recovery, nutrient mobility, and stronger, more consistent crop response.

Applied  Added to a program in progress, not a starting point

Best fit  Low vigor, uneven response, recovery after stress

WHY IT IS DIFFERENT

What changes when you stop treating symptoms and start treating the system.

These are the differences HCT documents on its own technical pages. Each row links to the page that explains it.

CONVENTIONAL APPROACH

WATERSOLV™ PROGRAM

Where treatment starts

✕  Product first, then see what happens.

✓  Testing first: your water and soil set the product, rate, and delivery.

Minerals and acid

✕  Acid lowers the pH reading; evaporative crystals do not redissolve.

✓  Curative keeps calcium and magnesium soluble; residue redissolves.

Biology

✕  Chlorine disinfects the surface; sulfur feeds black-layer bacteria.

✓  BC bioremediates through biofilm and breaks down to oxygen and water.

Sodium and salts

✕  Calcium and flushing only work if the profile already moves water.

✓  Restores infiltration first so leaching and recharge actually happen.

Corrosion and handling

✕  Corrosive acid, fumes, PPE, and compliance burden.

✓  Non-corrosive chemistry at a fraction of the product volume.

Delivery

✕  Manual dosing that drifts as flow changes.

✓  FS-1 doses in proportion to flow through your existing irrigation.

TESTING & PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT

Test first. Then build the program.

Legacy Analytical runs your soil against your own irrigation water (4:1 ratio, 72-hour soak), so the program is sized from what the field is actually doing.

01

Evaluate

Irrigation Water Analysis, Bac T, Available Soil Nutrition, and Total Soil Digestion where reserves matter.

02

Analyze

Results go into the Legacy Analytical Ledger with every parameter categorized by severity; site water, acreage, and depth are factored in.

03

Develop

Interpretations & Recommendations turn the ledger into a prescription: WaterSOLV products, ppm dosages, cost per acre, and a remediation timeline.

04

Implement

Injected through irrigation with FS-1 chemigation, topical where layers are compromised, with HCT field support.

05

Monitor

Retest with treated water (ASN – Treated Water) for a direct before-and-after comparison, then adjust the program.
