What is WaterSOLV™?

WaterSOLV™ is HCT's water and soil chemistry program for irrigated agriculture, golf, sports turf and landscape. It treats the chemistry in the irrigation water that causes the problems in the soil: bicarbonates and hardness, sodium and chloride, and the biology that seals the profile. Four products, one injection point, testing first.

WHAT WATERSOLV™ IS

Treat the water, and every irrigation cycle starts working for the soil.

A few gallons of chemistry per million gallons of water changes what the minerals and the biology do after the water leaves the emitter. WaterSOLV™ is injected at the pump station during normal irrigation, through the same point an acid program uses, and works on ion exchange rather than pH suppression, so the correction holds after the water is in the ground.

The program runs in three layers: condition the irrigation water at the source, release what is bound in the profile, then support the crop or turf once the system can deliver. Water, soil and biology are treated as one system rather than as separate symptoms.

THE WATERSOLV™ PRODUCTS

Four products. Each has one job in the program.

WaterSOLV™ Curative

The core correction: an ion-exchange acid that keeps bicarbonate-bound minerals soluble, relieves sodium and chloride and releases bound nutrition. Curative Organic is the OMRI-listed version for organic operations.

WaterSOLV™ BC

The biology product: an inhibited, catalyzed hydrogen peroxide that breaks down biofilm and restores oxygen in root zones, lines and water wells.

WaterSOLV™ pHix and GROW

pHix is the diluted combination of Curative and BC for topical, targeted work; GROW is the support product for recovery and nutrient mobility once correction is under way.

WHERE WATERSOLV™ IS USED

Two programs, one chemistry, one delivery system.

The Agriculture and Turf & Ornamental programs use the same products and the same testing; what changes is the crop, the irrigation system and the symptoms that bring people to HCT. Both run through the FS-1 chemigation system where flow-proportional dosing is wanted.

AGRICULTURE

Row and permanent crops

Growers use WaterSOLV™ for hard water, bicarbonates, sodium and chloride, poor infiltration and biological restriction, with results reported on citrus, tomatoes, almonds and pistachios.

TURF & ORNAMENTAL

Golf, sports turf and landscape

Superintendents use WaterSOLV™ for sealed greens, black layer, sodium stress, bicarbonate scale and shells, and to replace routine sulfuric acid injection.

CHEMIGATION

FS-1 system

The FS-1 reads the flow meter and doses WaterSOLV™ in proportion to water movement, so treatment stays accurate as conditions change.

TESTING FIRST

Legacy Analytical sizes the program to your water.

Legacy Analytical tests your soil with your actual irrigation water at a 4:1 ratio for 72 hours, so the results show what the field is really doing rather than what a distilled-water lab extraction suggests. The water analysis sets the product and the rate; the soil and bacteria results decide what else belongs in the program.
